AMD has released the Adrenalin Edition 24.5.1 of its software, which supports new games and enhances functionality across various applications. The update introduces support for recently released games including "Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut," "Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II," and "F1 24."
The release extends HYPR-Tune support for additional games such as "Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut," "Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition," "Starfield," and "The Last of Us Part I." HYPR-Tune, a performance enhancement tool, provides significant boosts, improving game performance on hardware such as the Radeon RX 7600XT GPU and Ryzen 8700G APU. For example, it can increase performance by up to 136% on the Radeon RX 7600XT GPU and up to 86% on the Ryzen 8700G APU in games like "Baldur's Gate 3," "F1 23," and "Resident Evil 4." The update also bolsters AMD's commitment to AI, enhancing support for AI-driven applications used by content creators, such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Blender, DaVinci Resolve, and Topaz Photo & Video AI. This version of AMD Software supports AI development, with compatibility for frameworks like PyTorch and ONNX Runtime on Linux, specifically on select Radeon 7000 series desktop GPUs.
Several fixes are included in the 24.5.1 update to address issues such as application crashes and driver timeouts on games like "World of Warcraft" and "Overwatch 2" across various Radeon products. Additional improvements address intermittent stutter after using alt-tab with Performance Metrics Overlay enabled, texture flickering in "Hitman: Contracts," and graphical corruption in "Alan Wake 2" when Radeon Boost is enabled.
